What is the Wrapulator?

If you’re new to thebadwrap.com, you’ve probably asked yourself: “Okay… what exactly is the Wrapulator?” Fair question.

Let’s clear it up.

The Wrapulator is not a vehicle template.
It’s not a print guide.

The Wrapulator is a simple, practical sales tool designed to help you (or your sales team) quote square footage estimates quickly and confidently.

Each Wrapulator file is an easy-to-use 8.5" x 11" PDF estimate sheet that breaks down common vinyl coverage areas — making quoting faster, cleaner, and far less guesswork-heavy.

How It Works

Open a Wrapulator PDF and you’ll see two clearly marked panel types:

• Pink panels = Vinyl

• Blue panels = Window perf

Each panel already includes 3–5 inches of bleed, so you don’t have to mentally add extra coverage. We’ve done that part for you.

The panels are positioned in logical coverage zones commonly used in partial wraps. This makes it easy to:

• Quote accurately

• Adjust coverage quickly

• Customize estimates on the fly

One important note:
We don’t size panels based on printer width or vinyl roll size. The panels represent coverage zones — not production files. Your design determines your print panel layout, not the Wrapulator.

What If It’s a Partial Wrap?

Simple.

Just subtract the panels you’re not using from the estimated total at the bottom of the sheet.

The Wrapulator was built to be flexible. Whether it’s a spot graphic, a half wrap, or near full coverage — you’re in control of the math.

Why Don’t My Panel Totals Match the Bottom Number?

Good catch.

The total square footage listed at the bottom of each Wrapulator sheet is calculated without overlapping areas.

When multiple panels would realistically print as one larger panel, those overlapping areas are removed from the total estimate — because you wouldn’t actually be printing that overlap twice.

It’s a more accurate real-world number.
